The endeavour of a contemporary man to conduct a healthy way of life is a trend of today.

More and more people begin to place high emphasis on improving the quality of their life, e.g. enjoying private owned dwelling, furniture lines, healthy food, recreation and holiday.

In this connection, green and eco holiday is getting popularity and good demand both in our country and abroad. It has encompassed many kinds of time-spending opportunities in places ranging from countryside, tourist centers and spa in small towns and settlements to rural homesteads. Furthermore, being more affordable, such a kind of holiday acquires the undoubted advantage in time of economic crisis.

Giving the participants a chance to show the entire diversity of leisure and entertainment industry, ECO*HOLIDAY exhibition-festival also is a venue to examine expectations and interests of prospective customers and realize your offers directly to clients.

Representing resorts, natural, historical and cultural riches, the exhibition-festival would also promote the recreational attractiveness of rural destinations and the development of their ground infrastructure resulting in the improvement of environment as a whole and quality of life of any single man.

That is why the UkrainianVillage Welcomes traditional exhibition & fair and The EuropeanVillage in Ukraine event will happen within the exhibition.

Ethno-festivals became very popular last time. They are aimed for reconstruction and preservation, developing and promoting of authentic traditions and life style, traditional ceremonies, music and art. We all live in a multinational environment where each nation is unique with its’ own culture and history, trying to follow specific for the region life style. Festivals usually are dedicated to certain type of business, ceremony or even to a product (for example, festivals of cheese, banosh, honey or wine). They happen in a certain time of a year in accordance to significant events in the community life, - harvesting, shepherds coming back home from mountains, end of a religion fasting etc. The most important is that such festivals support restoring of national traditions, promote a harmony between human being and natural environment, and assist economical development of the communities. Usually the festivals are arranged for local people participating those works, but many tourists from other places like them as well. It is a good stimulation for tourism development, because you cannot see the same things in other countries or even in other regions of Ukraine.

Eco-festivals engage people attention to concrete or global environmental problems. Organisers try to find innovative approaches for presenting items and engage gests to cooperation: to create together a fantastic exposition from natural materials, to build installations from just collected garbage, to drive an interesting tour in a nature or help to arrange birds’ habitat. As a rule, those actions are positive, which as well as ethno-festivals assist to restore cultural traditions and look for new ways for harmony between nature and man.
