Dear  admirers of the rest-time spending
at the village!

The activity of the Union for Promotion of Rural Green Tourism Development in Ukraine by means of conduction in different regions seminars, training, conferences,  publishing  of the magazine "Rural Green Tourism"; creation of Internet site "Village green  tourism in Ukraine"; the appealing to central and local executive governmental bodies, realization of  the  projects supported by international funds, active participation in exhibitions and  fairs and also taking into consideration present resources  of number of the rest-time spending at the village, promotes the increasing of the number of admirers of the rest-time spending at the village.
The realization of the Guide testifies that steps made  by our organization during 6 years were successful. 
For further popularization of the  rest-time spending at the village and  realization of not used possibilities of Ukrainian village. Every next year will be organized the exhibition-fair "Ukrainian village invites" at the territory of the State Museum of Folk Architecture  and Life in Ukraine.
I would like to emphasize one more time that for  successful  development of the  entertainment field at the village  it is necessary to  combine the social - economic ground, initiative, the big desire of the founders of the movement,  human potential together with the far-sighted policy of the State for encouraging the development of this  field.
So, we invite  You  to the  village,  where  You can enjoy the  picturesque  Ukrainian  nature, meet  hospitable people, discover Folk traditions and customs, taste folk traditional  cookery.  You will have pleasant time-free and unforgettable impressions.

  The main aim of the popular science magazine “Green rural tourism” is the promotion of rural tourism as a form of private enterprise in the countryside, providing accommodation and board to urban habitants. It was founded in 1997 by the Union for Promotion of Rural Green Tourism Development in Ukraine. The magazine is issued quarterly.

Total number of issues:

·        14 magazines with actual articles on green tourism topics and leading countries’ experience in organization of rural tourism

·        7 guide – books and catalogues of green tourism

·        3 brochures “Advice tips for recreation organizer and lodging proprietor”

In 2002 Union for Promotion of Rural Green Tourism Development in Ukraine got the award of the Ukrainian professional tourism programme “Crystal Crane” as the “Best tourism edition 2001”.
