This land is marvelous and eternally young. During hot summers the cool water from deep springs remains sweet and wanted. We can say the same about our towns and villages. Scythian tumuli near Illinets and recently built Bershadi, ancient temples of Baru and sculptures made by stonemasons in Yampole, picturesque sights of Chechelnyk and Oratow, nice looking cottages of Lypowets and Teplyk are very precious for us. Tomashil and Khmilnyk, Pishyanka and Lityn have also become unrecognizable during the last few years. From antiquity Podillya attracts people by its rich and magnificent nature, diverse landscapes, agricultural-climatologic, geological, zoogeographical zones. There are 1086 rivers, 2600 ponds and storage pools in Vinnitskiy region. Carp, perch, cat-fish, zander, pike and other fish can be found in rivers and ponds. Among natural memorials are famous caves in Nagoryany and Bernashiwka's sandstones in Mogyliw-Podilski district, Markiwski springs in Tomashpilski district, Green wells that enrich Ros River in Pogrebyshenski district, Gaydamatski ravine and a rocky temple of Bushi (III-IV centuries AD) of Yampilski district, natural parks in Brilov, Chernyatyn, Nemyrov, Wehowets, Obodiwka, and Gaysyn. Snowdrop and thyme are beautiful during June earing, sunflower heading, bee plant, buckwheat voluptuousness, September sun. Stripped with blue rivers with curly pussy#willow on their banks steppes are decorated with lulled by lark songs and light-winged pigeon bright poppies and bachelor's-buttons.
