Transcarpathian region is "The Silver Land" of Ukraine. This territory is located inthe warm southwestern part of Carpathian Mountains and Danube lowland. These lands are especially beautiful in spring when mountain rivers sing merrysongs, when the nature bloom tells us that the new tourist season starts. This land isrich in spas, curative mud and clean mountain lakes. Forests and timberlands occupy almost half of its territory. They grow in the mountains and in the river valleys. Above forest line there are spacious meads (meadows). Thousands of rare nativegrasses, bushes and flowers grow here. Gardens, vineyards and agricultural fieldsare set up in the warm places. In the region there kept safe wooden and stone architectural monuments including 13 ancient castles: Transcarpathian Folk Architecture and Traditions Museum,Floatwood Museum on Chorna River and etc. Original Hutsul, Hungarian, Slovakian, Romanian cultures and their unique traditions, customs and ceremonies, tasty food, hiking and going for an outing to mountains will give you great opportunity to rest and to keep fit and healthy.
